I am a big fan of the Marsden village’s Christmas lights. Sure some of them are a little unconventional but that’s part of their charm. They were designed by the local children and then made up into neon, so it must be great of you were one of those lucky kids whose picture got chosen.
Year on year they move to different places in the village. Like many small places there is a switch-on event on the Saturday. We missed it this year. I hope we get to see it next time around! Nothing beats some Christmas lights in the cold dark days of winter.
